Why choose us?

Purpose-built school based on Montessori principles

The school was built and opened in September 1992. There are spacious areas for Practical Life Activities, Sensorial, Language & Literacy, and Mathematics. The children have regular opportunities for singing, music-making, movement and listening to stories. Creative activities include painting, drawing, modelling with clay, collage, and design projects. The Foundation Stage Curriculum has been very successfully integrated with the Montessori Programme and the organisation, planning and management of the school were considered to be OUTSTANDING by Ofsted (June 2007).

“...excellent use is made of the large outdoor area and offers many opportunities for energetic play. The children develop their physical skills by successfully challenging themselves to climb up ladders and ropes and run in the garden holding streamers which make patterns in the wind.”
